Mrs Felicia Hippolyte, Chairperson of Unity presented a cheque donation of £1,000 to Mr Vincent John, Chairman of DUKA at Dominica’s 39th Independence fundraising event on Saturday, 11 November to provide aid to Dominica which suffered severe devastation as a result of Hurricane Maria.
A further donation of £230 was also presented to DUKA on the night by the Chairman of Canaries UK Association, a member Association of Unity.
