“The President of Unity of UK St Lucians, Mrs Felicia Hippolyte, presented a cheque of £500 to the Treasurer of Canaries UK St Lucian Association in response to an appeal made on behalf of Mr Luke St Cyr, a Canaries resident, who is suffering from a rare debilitating disease, Marfan Syndrome.
Mr St Cyr, is in need of financial assistance for medical care. The cost of the operation is EC$30,000. He has raised EC$10,000 and now needs EC$20,000 to enable him to travel to Martinique for treatment.
Canaries UK St Lucian Association are appealing to friends, family and supporters to give support to this appeal. For further information, please telephone the Chairman on 07939 218355. Donations can also be made via Bank of Saint Lucia, Account No. 927366000 “
