Saint Lucia Celebrates 46 Years of Independence

Saint Lucia’s 46th Independence Celebration Fundraising Dance was held on 22 February 2025 and was a tremendous success.  The event brought over 400 attendees from the community for a joyful evening of music and dancing, all in support of Unity of UK St Lucian Associations to provide welfare aid to Saint Lucia.

The guests enjoyed lively performances by DJs and soca artist Imran Nerdy, who kept the dance floor packed throughout the night.

Generous donations from the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, Coco Palm, and Bay Gardens Hotel enabled us to offer a fantastic raffle prize of “a holiday for two with 6-nights accommodation to Saint Lucia,” which boosted our fundraising efforts.

It was indeed a wonderful evening. We received positive feedback from attendees and supporters, with many highlighting the strong sense of community and the fun atmosphere. The charity fundraising dance was a financial success and a heart-warming reminder of what we can achieve when united for a good cause.
